Default Classes for this summer

I know it is a ways off but we were kicking ideas around for this summer. So far 17.5 single cell with the GTB speed control and reg body with wing. and 13.5 single cell open speed control and reg body with wing. has any body have any other ideas?

I think a couple of 13.5 classes (13.5 with Novak GTB, and 13.5 Open speed control (that will probably be the same speed as 21.5/2 cell last year), just thinking that 10.5/single/open speed control will be a bit much (Especialy for most of us old guys)!!!!!!!!!!! Be a great chance for a lot of guys to get a last bit of use out of the GTB's. I just don't know if 17.5 1cell will be fast enough to have fun. I WANT TO BE GOING FAST AT MTOWN WHEN I PUT CODY IN THE GRASS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remeber: TIGHTEN THE ANTENNA ON YOUR TRANSMITTER.

Here's my thinking for this summer. Summer is for laying back, having fun with your friends and maybe trying a few new things for next winter. We don't want to spend all our time teching cars and stuff when we could be bullsh*tting. So I will throw this out. Pro class: 10.5 GTB only, 13.5 open speedo, and 21.5 2cell for the old diehards. Stock class: 13.5 GTB only, 17.5 open speedo, and 17.5 4cell round cells for some really old diehards. As the season developes, maybe play with some car weights to even the field. This is just an idea to start the season with to give everyone a place to run and to try some of the new speedo's. Who knows what will happen by Fall and I don't want to make people buy anything new just to have fun this Summer. Just my thoughts to get people thinking. Please fill free to voice your ideas on this. See you at the track somewhere.

Sounds good to me! Have you got the track shoveled off Rick? I'm ready. I just hope that Chris Schmals guy doesn't shun us this summer.

Good ideas Rick, will be interesting to see how the older speedos do up against the newer speedos and slower motors, could be just the ticket for all to stay competitive. Something for everybody, now what kind of Mike C. rules are you gonna come up with to slow him down? 21.5 one cell with a GTB sounds about right!! Oh yeah and foam tires.
